Jeremiah [1]

Jeremiah finds himself saying "Oy" all the time. He says, "I've been saying 'Oy!' a lot. I know I'm not Jewish so saying "Oy Vey!"(which is Yiddish) probably isn't the wisest thing." Why not? I'm not Jewish and say "Oy vey" all the time. From jewish.com : "It literally means 'oh, pain,' but it is used as an all purpose exclamation to express anything from "trivial delight to abysmal woe. Vay comes from the German word Weh, meaning 'woe,' so the expression developed at a time and a place where Jews were speaking Yiddish (Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries)."
