Five killed in 40-car pileup in Fresno County fog: "Authorities now say five people are dead and dozens are injured after a huge pileup in dense fog on Highway 99 south of Fresno this morning. California Highway Patrol Officer Kirk Arnold says both directions of Highway 99 near Selma will likely be closed for most of the day. Arnold says the highway patrol was leading cars slowly through the fog when a car crossed from southbound to northbound 99 and crashed into some vehicles in the pack."
