Some of the benefits might actually be longer growing seasons; higher crop production from the additional CO2 in the air as well as fewer deaths from cold weather. We have the resources to adjust to its effects as they occur, like building sea walls to protect low-lying cities, or pumping water to drought-stricken areas or adjusting as growing regions change.
