Governor Pataki just read the Gettysburg Address at the September 11 memorial service at Ground Zero. Ugh. How is that relavent? Why do we refer to the wisdom of those from the past?... Oh. Now I understand. The Gettysburg Address was about to how honor your heros. Lincoln's answer was: You can't. No speech you give, no monument you erect, will be worthy of them, of their sacrifice. The best you can do is remember the cause they died for, finish the job they started.
