I just realized that I didn't post anything here at all on Sunday. I must be slipping. I saw After Life on Friday night. Good movie. It is definitely not a movie to watch if you're not interested in paying attention or thinking about anything. It confronted my the Judeo-Christian belief in an after life head on, with its spartan, Japanese asthetic. What if when you die you can only take on memory with you? And what if that memory is just someone else's cinematic recreation of that instant?>

I've always wanted to know how to make a friendship bracelet. Thanks Jake. Woody Allen will be returning to the pages of the New Yorker sometime early in 2000. He'll write as often as he likes... Everything that's wrong with America can be deduced from a single episode of Change of Heart Thursday I read Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk. I liked it better than the movie. Tuesday and Wednesday I read The Autobiography of Joseph Stalin by Richard Lourie. This was interesting. Its fictional and VERY funny. Maybe Friday will be "What books did Dane read day"... There is no Escape: I just wrote this tonite. Someone famous once said that you have to write 1000 bad stories before you can write a great one. I'm just trying to get those 1000 out.> I'm thinking about dumping freelist.org. Its just so much easier to maintain only two sites. So, I've started to move my writings to /writings. Right now, there is no index file so the directory should list.

After Life is playing at the State Theater until Friday. I need to see it. Ok, so I've gone and done it again. I've rearranged everything, lost a bit of it in the process and am forcing you to look at new colors. Oh well. Deal with it.
