All this time I thought my weblog wasn't working anymore. Turns it was just that I wasn't weblogging. What's up with that?
Today I built a city size comarison tool. Check it out, if you're into that sort of thing.
S.F.'s bio-warfare sentries City marshals devices to give early warning of anthrax, smallpox attacks: "BioWatch is operated by the federal Department of Homeland Security. It is a device described by authorities in only vague terms -- they say it is larger than a bread box and smaller than a refrigerator. There are several in the Bay Area and they can be easily moved from place to place, depending on where law enforcement thinks the needs are greatest." Mentioning law enforcement and homeland security in the same breath scares me.
Super squid surfaces in Antarctic: "A colossal squid has been caught in Antarctic waters, the first example of Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni retrieved virtually intact from the surface of the ocean."
Time-traveler Busted For Insider Trading: "Federal investigators have arrested an enigmatic Wall Street wiz on insider-trading charges -- and incredibly, he claims to be a time-traveler from the year 2256!"
The Emperor Has No Clothes: "Last year, in response to Congressman Ron Paul's attempt to adhere to the Constitutional requirement of declaring war before the President may act as Commander-in-Chief, Speaker Hastert declared that the Constitution was 'no longer relevant to modern society." Admittedly, he didn't intend to include the entire Constitution, simply that section that specifies that it is the function of Congress to declare war. The problem is that once you start being selective in your application of the Constitution, it becomes possible to ignore all of it."
How should I treat my child's cold? "No medicine will make the virus go away faster, but you can help your baby feel better and prevent the infection from getting worse by making sure she gets plenty of rest and liquids (that means breast milk or formula only for babies under 6 months)."
Ugh, we're all sick. Its Emerson's first cold, so I'm sure we're over doing it. Luckily Angie was the first one to get sick so hopefully she'll be able to take care of her boys soon.
Not broken now...
