I've decided that I shouldn't allow my issues with Radio Userland to stop me from weblogging. I have to admit, Movable Type is nice. Thanks for motivating me, Loyd.
Wow, its my first post with Movable Type. Woho.
Best damn web design quote ever:
The fact is that most people do not use the web for visual stimulation. People use the web to buy things, find information, make contacts, and what they notice is whether they can successfully buy things, find information, and make contacts. They do not notice the well-thought-out tag line or the expensive logo -they're just window dressing, just frosting on the cake. In fact, all the fussing we designers do to draw attention to our work often winds up just getting in the way. -- Sarah Horton
From Libertyfilter, today:
Neutrino beam could neutralise nuclear bombs "A super-powered neutrino generator could in theory be used to instantly destroy nuclear weapons anywhere on the planet, according to a team of Japanese scientists."
China Threatens to Execute SARS Spreaders "China warned it could execute anyone who causes death or injury by deliberately spreading SARS, as officials on Thursday promised more doctors, hospitals and money to fight the flu-like virus in rural areas."
If you haven't stopped by my new collaborative site, Liberyfilter, you don't know what kind of anarchy you're missing.
So, we're sitting here watching TV, and Angie wants to watch American Idol to see who gets voted off. Music and I don't mix, so two seconds and a Google search later, I know. Do I tell? No, becuase that's love.
And so, I wonder.
